Elements

There are certain elements all websites should have. Of thses there should always be a navigation bar, header, body, and footer.

The Header is used to show the viewer where they are, and possibly give topic to the website. A Website header reading "baseball" is much different than one reading "Web Site Practices." It should be located at the top of your website.

A website should also have a navigation bar. This is used for navigating in and out of the website. It may contain absolute and relative links. It should be located to the left or the top of the page becase this is Western style. Western style makes it made read left to right so you should definitely put the navigation bar in the top or left.

The Body is where the action happens, where the writing and where the bulk of the content of the website is held.

The footer is where you stake claim in your website. You put some info down there, maybe your name and general location, but you should always put a copyright to make sure people know they cannot steal your website.
